Transferring your mortgage

You will still need legal documentation regarding transferring your mortgage. Additional work may include secured charges, conducting any searches requested and dealing with redemptions or consent for any adults aged 18 or over who lives in the property.

Re-mortgages

When you re-mortgage your property we know that you will want the money as soon as possible.

As soon as we receive mortgage instructions:

  1. We confirm our costs and disbursements in writing
  2. Ask for your identity and your existing mortgage details to obtain a redemption figure
  3. Request the deeds
  4. Apply for the searches
  5. Once we have examined the title and the results of our searches we will arrange for you to execute the mortgage deed and apply for the money.
  6. When we complete we will pay off the old mortgage send the moneys to you and carry out the necessary Land Registration work
